All things are possible to them that believe. With God on our side there is nothing and no one that can stop us. I am thankful for our men's ministry. We are going to do great things as we stay together. Psalms1:2-3 - Steven Jefferson

I thank God for every one of my brothers. Through you all I have truly experienced the heart and love of Christ. What you all have and are to me are beyond words. I love you all my blood brothers. -Raymond Simpson

Remember to put God first in all things you do. In Prov 1:1 it says "The beginning of wisdom is the fear or reverence of God" We are to respect and honor him in everything. This will help you to be close to him and bring perspective in your life. I t will also be a save haven for you in every decision you make.                      -Derrick Osborne Sr.

I just want us to remember the the statement from last Sunday's teaching that about obstacles and steps that sometimes what we think are obstacles are really steps toward our goals and obstacles take us away from our goals. That statement really helped me -Wil H.

Brothers,
I often think about Psalm 133.  I learned that (Scripture) a long time ago in college, but never understood it until I met you men. - Wil Haynes

1 John 2:15 - Reminds us not to love or cherish this present world.  I would like to encourage all of us to take heed to these words.  The world can have many trappings that can destroy your dreams and goals in life.  So let us pull closer to God and allow him to direct our life. - Derrick A. Osborne

I was promoted this month! I received several requests to start a Bible Study by co-workers on my job. I read 2 Samuel 22.  It shows the love and protection of our Heavenly Father.  He runs to our defense in a time of trouble.  - Steven Jefferson, Sr.

Obedience – Genesis 6 & 7
Noah had obedience even when he was humiliated. That’s great obedience. They laughed at him, mocked him, and teased him and he was still obedient. While everybody else was having fun and merry he was obedient building his ark and getting the animals like he was supposed to. See that land had never received rain before (if that was me I would’ve been like, “forget that this land hasn’t never rain, so why all of a sudden it’s going to rain.” Now that’s foolishness) But Noah obeyed him no matter how dumb it sounded, that’s the greatest obedience I have ever heard of except Jesus obeying his Father until torcher and physical death. Now that’s the greatest obedience. Noah obeyed God and everybody else didn’t listen but Noah and his family survived while everybody else died.                   – Derrick Osborne Jr.

Father God, you know that I have the tendency to take my own direction and move right into harm's way.  Your Word declares, "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High; shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Oh how many times have I stepped out of the secret place to go in my own direction.  Nevertheless, you still keep me safe! It's time that I learn how to stay in that place with you and stop creating my own avenue.  Father God, I realize that abiding where You have placed me is the safest and most stable position for my life.  I only ask that you keep me from the hand of the enemy. - Percy V. Martin

One of my favorite Scriptures: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:39) -- David Hunt

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding" - Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)

Brothers, to grow in our walk as sons of God, we must received and develop a healthy understanding of the "fear of the LORD".  It is not a fear of God due to an unwanted consequence or punishment, but a fear of hurting the heart of God; a fear of committing actions or offenses that are displeasing to God; a fear of giving Satan an occasion to mock our Heavenly Father due to the behavior of His children; a fear of Satan claiming to be our father as our actions point more to "legitimacy" to him than to a Holy God. How would you feel to hear your child call someone else "Father?” To place something or someone in a position that rightfully and legitimately belongs to you and you alone? How would you feel? How does God feel? How does Jesus feel about it? How does the Holy Spirit, dwelling on the inside of you while you're committing an offense against the Father...how does He feel? I fear that reality...as I love my Heavenly Father. In my inward parts, I love Him. -- Rodney Harris

Acts 2 reminds us of, the reality of when people stay connected for Jesus they can do all things. Remember the ministry moves forward when we connect with Jesus and one another. -- Derrick Osborne
